Respite Care Service
Respite Care is short term relief and support provided to a loved ones primary caregiver.
Our caregivers are experienced, highly trained and compassionate professionals who will create and provide an attentive-individualized plan of care for your loved one.
Who can qualify?
Available to KFHC members only.
Services may be requested by providers, members, and caregivers.
- Individuals unable to perform ADL's- (Activities of Daily Living.)
- Members with Advanced or Complex medical needs- ALL ages.
- Individuals without adequate in home support system.
- Individuals at risk for hospitalizations or nursing facility.
- Individuals approved for In-Home Supportive Service.
- Children who were covered for Respite Services under the Pediatrics Palliative Care Waiver
- Foster care program beneficiaries.
- Members enrolled in either California Children's Services or the Genetically Handicapped Persons Program (GHPP)
